Ministry Central
is Oakwood University’s dedicated platform for keeping students informed and engaged with campus ministry activities. Designed to highlight spiritual life on campus, Ministry Central primarily features information about small groups, while also offering regular updates on daily ministry events and opportunities to get involved in “the vineyard.” Stay connected, stay inspired, and stay in the know with all that God is doing at Oakwood.

The Vine is the center of God’s vineyard at Oakwood University. During these monthly services, everyone that is leading, and/or a part of a branch group, gets the opportunity to come together and worship. These services include worship, discussion, and donation drives that help meet students spiritual and physical needs.

Branch group are community Christ-centered groups on the campus of Oakwood University. In these groups, students have the opportunity to engage with one another through faith, activities, and more. These student led groups are the bridge between connecting spirituality to the daily life of an Oakwood Student.

Branch Group isn’t about being perfect—it’s about serving others by creating a welcoming space for meaningful connection, spiritual growth, and shared experiences. Hosting a group is simple: choose a topic that interests you, select a time and location, and meet with others to explore and grow together. We provide essential tools to support your success, including Leader Training and access to our group directory to help others find and join your group. We believe lives are transformed one step at a time, one semester at a time, and as a Branch Group leader, you play a vital role in that journey of faith and community on our campus.
