Andrew Pileggi has served as a minister of the Gospel since 2004. He began his ministry in New York volunteering as an Assistant Pastor at his home church in upstate New York. From there, he went on to serve as Chaplain for Greater New York Academy in Queens, New York. He continued serving in New York until 2017 as a pastor in Manhattan and then Brooklyn. In July of 2017, he returned to his Alma Mater to serve as a Chaplain, where he continues to serve the community that he loves.

Chaplain Pileggi desires to inspire Christians to grow in their walk with God by offering a down-to-earth, real-world approach to ministry. His favorite passage of Scripture is Hebrews 4:14-16, which reminds us that Jesus is our merciful and compassionate High Priest. Chaplain Pileggi understands that transformation occurs when Christians are able to be honest about where they stand without fear of how others may view them. Therefore, he offers a listening, non-judgmental ear and a prophetic, encouraging voice to the Oakwood Family in hopes that all will see the face of Jesus in peace on the day of His return.

Kory Paul Douglas is a native of Brooklyn New York, the firstborn of Brenetha Chung and Bryan Douglas. After completing his studies at Northeastern Academy KP went on to attend the former Oakwood College, enrolling as a Math/Engineering major. After his own Damascus road experience, he answered the call to ministry switching his major to Theology. In 2008, he became the first male grandchild to graduate college, receiving a BA in Theology with an emphasis in pastoral/evangelistic ministry from Oakwood University.

He also holds the Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling, the Master of Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University, and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Organizational Leadership & Professional Practice, also at Trevecca.

KP has pastored and served as Youth Director for the Central States Conference and currently serves as Senior Associate Chaplain at Oakwood University.

He has been married for six years to his beautiful wife, the former Kimberly Sampson. He is also the proud parent of his four-year-old baby girl Carsyn, two-year-old son Noah, and five-month-old twins Kohen and Maia.

Pastor Douglas is fully committed to God, his family, and his church. He wants nothing more than to continue to grow in the grace and love of Jesus and for that relationship to be contagious, influencing others for the Kingdom of God. KP is living proof of his favorite text, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Medgine Picard Bonzil is first a child of God. She is a native of Haiti, where she grew up to value a life of simplicity and freedom. She has served as an education curriculum coordinator, a youth pastor, and a women clergy advocate. Currently, she serves as a chaplain at Oakwood University. She is passionate about the spiritual development of young adults and adults alike, walking side by side with them on their journey of life and faith. Her calling is to share the realities of God everywhere, especially in secular settings, through relevant and creative means. Because of this, God has purposed that she would travel to cities like Prague, Liberec, Reykjavik (pronounced Ray-Ka-vic), Jerusalem, provincial regions of Germany, Czech Republic, Iceland, and Israel to share the love of God and announce His coming.

Chaplain Medgine is a blessed wife and mother of a growing 6-month-old son who will make his great appearance into this world this coming May.

The anchoring mantra that has helped her to remain focused and centered in her own journey is the pledge that she will trust in the Lord with all her heart, not leaning on her own understanding, but that in all her ways she will acknowledge him. God’s faithful promise is that He will direct her paths.
